RedNike Swoosh Embroidered Iron On Patches. This is a super lightweight patch that is perfect for shirt, hats, leather or denim jacket, backpack, hat, shoes and other accessories. Great for decorating art projects, art decors, laptops, gift wraps and other DIY craft projects. This little red heart patch applique is the perfect size to iron on folded socks, sprinkle down the top of a sundress or a centerpiece for embellishing doll clothing. Can be widely used for shoes, coats, jeans, bags, suitcases, pillowcases and curtains. This patch is easy to iron on, sew on, or glue on to any garment or DIY projects.
APPROPRIATE MATERIALS: Heat seal to cotton or cotton/poly fabrics. Do NOT apply to rayon, nylon or tri-acetate fabrics or any fabric that is heat sensitive.
PRE-WASH every item as many manufacturers treat fabrics and that treatment will prevent adherence if not washed off first!
Using a Household Iron:
- Pre-heat iron to the med-high cotton temperature setting (without steam) and select a hard, flat pressing surface (not a padded ironing board).
- Position patch on pre-washed garment and cover with a cotton cloth or patch pressing sheet.
- Using iron, apply constant pressure to pressing sheet for 30-40 seconds (no back and forth).
- Turn garment inside out and repeat, pressing directly on garment to heat though back of patch.
- Enjoy! (the glue on your new patch should last for about 50 washes)
*If you have difficulty with adherence, increase heat, length of press and pressure.
CARE: Once applied, appliques are permanently attached to garments and are washable. We recommend turning items inside out and washing in Cold, on Delicate and hanging dry to preserve the longevity of your decor.
Using a Heat Press:
1. 350 degrees for 30-40 Seconds (Medium pressure) Or 375 degrees for 20-25 Seconds (Med-Hard pressure). Since every press is a little different, you may need to adjust pressure or time.
